Senior Electrical Estimator
To prepare detailed cost estimates the Company can have confidence in, all in accordance with Company procedures and accepted good practice for the industry. Actively assist the Estimating Team to continually enhance estimating procedures and processes. Actively contribute to a positive teamwork environment at all times.
Requirement:
1. May require local & overseas travel for site visits as well as occasional short term assignments to work in other Petrosea / Indika offices, partners offices etc.
2. Overtime working will be required from time to time
3. May require acting as a Lead Estimator and/or Tender Manager
4. Min. 6 years working experiences, with minimum 2 years as an estimator. Preferably has experience in Material Handling Works and Electrical
5. Min. Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering
6. May require to be rotated as a Project Engineer on site once Petrosea can secure the project
7. Strong background in technical aspect of project site supervision, technical standard, method of work, calculation, and preferably also in design work
8. Computer Literate (Ms. Office), MS Project, preferably also AutoCAD, Primavera, Tecla, Helix
Responsibilities:
1. Prepare estimates is PETS format in accordance with Petrosea s procedures
2. Prepare and maintain electronic and hardcopy tender files in accordance with Company procedures
3. Prepare or arrange for detailed MTOs (quantity take-off) from tender documentation
4. Attend site visit and prepare detailed report of existing local conditions, available facilities and technical capabilities
5. Ensure the Estimate is built up methodically and in sufficient detail and is in accordance with good estimating practice. Sufficient explanatory notes are to be included referring the location of supplementary information
6. Ensure that a comprehensive Subcontract Enquiry Package is sent only to Company Approved Subcontractors for any “major subcontract” work. Terms and conditions of the Subcontract Package must be back to back with the head contract. Comprehensive Subcontract Enquiry Packages to be reviewed by all Division functional departments
7. Ensure Subcontractor responses are properly evaluated and the results tabulated on a Subcontractor Bid Evaluation spreadsheet
8. Ensure (by working closely with the Lead Estimator) that the Indirect Cost Estimate is properly prepared and cost
9. Identifies (with the Bid Manager and Lead Estimator) the “big ticket” items in the Estimate and proactively works on these with the bid team with a value added outcome as the aim
10. Assist designated Planner in the preparation of the construction schedule, providing man hours and plant requirement for each activity and also indicating anticipated durations and minimum manning
11. Participate with the Lead Estimator and other Discipline Estimators in benchmarking productivities to be applied to the Estimate against recognized industry norms. The productivity uplift/discount shall be shown separately for each bill item in the estimate
12. Assist the Lead Estimator and Bid Manager in the identification, evaluation and ranking of risks as well as developing a strategy to manage and mitigate the risks to Company. R&O Matrix is to serve as the basis for estimating an appropriate contingency allowance for inclusion in the Cost Estimate
13. Ensure the Estimate Basis is “Current Cost” by utilizing the labour and staff rates prepared by the Estimating Manager and all material prices are from current quotations
14. Present for review by the Lead Estimator the Cost Estimate in detail prior to review of the tender by management
15. Assist Bid Manager with the preparation of a list of commercial and technical clarifications and qualifications to the proposal
16. Assist Bid Manager in completing Client s pricing and technical tender schedules
17. When requested, carry out peer review of estimated compiled by other estimators and or divisions, checking for completeness, pricing accuracy and adequate manning and plant requirements
18. Responsible for continually maintaining and updating the database of estimating norms including feedback from past projects in Division Estimating and Norms Manual.From time to time work as a Bid Manager

3. Analyze and interpret schedules prepared by outside consultants and contractors, merger them into a single composite master schedule, which is summarized, as required, for various levels of use
4. Establish and maintain effective means of coordinating unit plans and schedule with other organization units; report delays and problem promptly and take appropriate actions to maintain effective coordination of activities; ensure that unit activities do not conflict with organization goals
5. Assist in the analysis of claim, utilizing schedule information and capabilities of the scheduling system to provide accurate picture of project activities events

Senior Cost Control Engineer-Overhead
(Placement: Balikpapan)
Ensure cost control process is running is daily bases. Review budget and control cost/expenditure status, prepare forecasting process in regular bases. Secure company profitability and provide trend cost analyses report.

Senior Commercial Engineer
Provide commercial/contracts management expertise to Management and clients, including auditing documents for compliance and offer a legal perspective to all situations that may expose company to risk in order to enhance company s effectiveness and efficiencies in term of minimising such risk in commercial/contracts.

3. Drafting formal letters and attending negotiations of a contractual nature in order to provide logistical support to Project Managers in resolving contractual issues with the Client/vendors
4. Organize and manage variations and claims to their scope of work and successfully negotiate these to settlement, including a running log of all contractual correspondence to settlement
5. Monitor and control contract implementation to ensure that the Client and Petrosea follow the contractual requirements of the contract such that Petrosea is not exposed to unnecessary costs or penalties
6. Evaluate and analyse all legal aspects of commercial documents/contracts and manage such to stay abreast of commercial change/risk
7. Evaluate and conduct restructuring of internal documents to ensure all company s documents are in accordance with the Petrosea Contracting Principles and management of commercial contracts

Fungsi Dan Cara Kerja Delivery Valve

Fungsi utama dari delivery valve adalah untuk mencegah aliran balik dan mengatur
tekanan sisa bahan bakar. Ketika plunger pada pompa injeksi telah mencapai posisi titik mati
atas, maka proses penginjeksian bahan bakar telah berakhir. Jika plunger dan pipa nozzle
(pipa dengan tekanan tinggi) dihubungkan secara langsung, maka bahan bakar yang
terdapat di dalam pipa nozzle akan terhisap ke arah pompa injeksi pada saat plunger
bergerak turun.

Jika hal ini terjadi maka akan berakibat terjadinya keterlambatan penginjeksian bahan bakar (akan terdapat jeda waktu yang cukup lama antara saat dimulainya pengiriman bahan bakar oleh plunger dengan saat dimulainya penginjeksian bahan bakar oleh nozzle) pada saat siklus berikutnya.

Untuk mencegah hal ini, maka dipasanglahj delivary valve diantara plunger dengan pipa nozzle. Delivery valve akan memutuskan hubungan antara plunger dengan pipa nozzle pada saat proses penginjeksian bahan bakar berakhir, untuk menghentikan seluruhnya aliran balik dari pipa.

Delivery valve juga berfungsi untuk mencegah adanya tekanan sisa pada pipa saat
penginjeksian berakhir. Tekanan sisa yang terdapat pada pipa nozzle jika dibiarkan akan
berakibat bahan bakar yang diijeksikan oleh nozzle tidak akan berhenti dalam waktu yang
tepat (terjadi keterlambatan waktu berakhirnya penginjeksian oleh nozzle).

Kejadian ini akan menimbulkan tetesan (dribbling) bahan bakar dan terjadinya penginjeksian kedua (secodary injection). Untuk mencegah hal ini, delivery valve akan mengatur tekanan sisa pada pipa
nozzle pada level yang tepat dengan cara menarik/menghisap bahan bakar tersebut. Proses penginjeksian bahan bakar akan berakhir pada saat retraction piston menutup lubang pada
valve seat.

Berakhirnya penginjeksian bahan bakar merupakan awal dari proses penarikan
bahan bakar (retraction). Pada proses retraction inilah terjadinya penurunan tekanan pada
pipa nozzle, sehingga proses penetesan bahan bakar (dribling) dan penginjeksian kedua
(secondary injection) dapat dicegah. Proses bekerjanya delivery valve dapat dilihat pada
gambar berikut ini.

Spesifikasi Standard Drilling Machine DM45/LP

The DM45/LP (Low Pressure) is a crawler mounted, hydraulic tophead drive, multi--pass rotary
drilling rig specifically designed for rotary action drilling of blastholes up to amaximumdepth of 180
ft. (54.9 meters) and a maximum hole diameter of from 5 in. to 9 in. (127 mm to 228 mm). The
standard DM45/LP utilizes a diesel engine to drive the air compressor and hydraulic system.
Operation of the drill is performed using electric over hydraulic controllers ergonomically located so
that the operator faces the drill centralizer while drilling. The DM45/LP comes equipped with an
asymmetrical rotary screw air compressor.


The DM45/HP (High Pressure) is a crawler mounted, hydraulic tophead drive, multi--pass rotary
drilling rig specifically designed for rotary/percussive action drilling of blastholes up to amaximum
depth of 180 ft. (54.9 meters) and a maximum hole diameter of from 5 in. to 7 in. (127 mm to 203
mm) for DHD (down the hole hammer) drilling using high pressure compressed air. The standard
DM45/HP utilizes a diesel engine to drive the air compressor and hydraulic system. Operation of
the drill is performed using electric over hydraulic controllers ergonomically located so that the
operator faces the drill centralizer while drilling. The DM45/HP comes equipped with an
asymmetrical rotary screw air compressor.

The DM50/LP (Low Pressure) is a crawler mounted, hydraulic tophead drive, multi--pass rotary
drilling rig specifically designed for rotary action drilling of blastholes up to amaximumdepth of 180
ft. (54.9 meters) and a maximum hole diameter of from 7--7/8 in. to 9--7/8 in. (200 mmto 251mm).
The standard DM50/LP utilizes a diesel engine to drive the air compressor and hydraulic system.
Operation of the drill is performed using electric over hydraulic controllers ergonomically located so
that the operator faces the drill centralizer while drilling. The DM50/LP comes equipped with an
asymmetrical rotary screw air compressor.

The DML is a crawler mounted, hydraulic tophead drive, multi--pass rotary drilling rig specifically
designed for production blasthole drilling to depths of 180 ft. (54.9m) with a 30 ft. (9.1m) drill pipe
change. A 35 ft. (10.7m) steel change is also available to handle single pass drilling requirements
to 35 ft. (10.7)m). Various carousel capacities are also available for the 35 ft., (10.7m) option.Hole
size range for rotary drilling applications is nominally 6 in. to 10--5/8 in. (152mm to 270 mm).

For DHD drilling with the high pressure air option, nominal hole size range is 6 in. to 9--7/8 in. (152mm to 250mm). Feed pressure generates a bit load force of up to 60,000 lb. (27,216 kg). The standard DML utilizes a diesel engine to drive the air compressor and hydraulic system.Operation of the drill is performed using electric over hydraulic controllers ergonomically located so that the operator faces the drill centralizer while drilling. The DML comes equipped with an asymmetrical rotary screw air compressor.

To permit optimum performance on a wide range of applications, and site requirements, the
machine is equipped with:
a.) Low pressure compressor installation (DM45LP, DM50LP, DML/LP)
b.) High pressure compressor installation (DM45HP, DML/HP)
c.) Dust suppression equipment
d.) Standard 5 drill rod carousel
e.) Operational controls in a sound proofed cab
f.) High gradeability

The propulsion system features independent hydrostatic drive/service braking of each track,
allowing steering by differential operation of the tramming control levers.
Engine

TheMid--Range series blasthole drill rigs use water cooled engines, with direct injection and turbo
chargers.

Electric starting and belt driven alternator battery charging is standard on all drill models.
The drills are equipped with dual system air filtration. Dry type 2--stage air cleaners, with optional
pre--cleaner, respectively provide clean air to the engine and the compressor.
The engine power / rpm is controlled by the engine speed control switch. The engine is shutdown
either by the removable key “ON/OFF” switch or the emergency stop switch.

Main Frame
The drill main frame consists of a track frame which supports the power pack assembly
(engine/compressor/hydraulic pumps), the combined engine radiator/hydraulic oil cooler, drill
tower assembly and three leveling jacks.

Drill Tower
The drill tower assembly features the hydro-- static driven rotary head and the hydraulic drill feed
systems. A standard 5 drill rod carousel can be controlled from the operators console to provide
safe and easy multi--pass drilling.
By using the angle drilling accessories, hole can be drilled at 5 degree increments from vertical up
to 30 degrees from the vertical.

Controls
All of the controls are positioned for operator convenience in the operator’s cab. Full details are
provided in section 4.

Tramming (Propelling)
Each track is provided with direction (Forward and Reverse) speed control leverswhich control the
tramming speed. This system also provides service braking by moving the respective levers
towards the ’STOP’ position.

Steering
The drill can be steered by adjusting the speed of one track relative to the other.

Braking
Service braking is effected by moving the tramming control lever towards the “STOP” position.
Because the LH and RH track systems are independently controlled, one track acts as secondary
braking for the other.

Parking brakes are incorporated into each track motor assembly and are fail--safe, hydraulically
released, spring applied. These brakes will therefore be applied in the event of loss of brake
release hydraulic pressure due to:
a.) Pressing a RED emergency stop switch
b.) Turning the main key operated “ON/OFF” switch to OFF position.
c.) Hose failure resulting in loss of charge pressure, when themain pumps will cut off the flow
to the tracks.

Operator’s Cab
The operator’s FOPS cab is designed for convenience, ease of control, comfort and safety while
providing maximum visibility to the work area. The operator’s station is sound insulated. A fully
adjustable suspension--mounted seat is standard. Remote Tramming Control is available at Cab
location.

Pengenalan Cara Kerja Belt Conveyor Dan Bagian - Bagiannya

Belt conveyor dapat digunakan untuk mengengkut material baik yang berupa “unit load” atau “bulk material” secara mendatar ataupun miring.
Yang dimaksud dengan “unit load” adalah benda yang biasanya dapat dihitung jumlahnya satu per satu, misalnya kotak, kantong, balok dll. Sedangkan Bulk Material adalah material yang berupa butir-butir, bubuk atau serbuk, misalnya pasir, semen dll.


Bagian – bagian terpenting Belt conveyor adalah :

a. Belt : Fungsinya adalah untuk membawa material yang diangkut.
b. Idler : Gunanya untuk menahan atau menyangga belt.
Menurut letak dan fungsinya maka idler dibagi menjadi :
  • 1. Idler atas yang digunakan untuk menahan belt yang bermuatan.
  • 2. Idler penahan yaitu idler yang ditempatkan ditempat pemuatan.
  • 3. Idler penengah yaitu yang dipakai untuk menjajaki agar belt tidak bergeser dari jalur yang seharusnya.
  • 4. Idler bawah Idler balik yaitu yang berguna untuk menahan belt kosong.
c. Centering Device : Untuk mencegah agar belt tidak meleset dari rollernya.
d. Unit Penggerak (drive units) : Pada Belt conveyor tenaga gerak dipindahkan ke belt oleh adanya gesekan antara belt dengan “plulley” penggerak (drive pully), karena belt melekat disekeliling pully yang diputar oleh motor.
e. Pemberat (take-ups or counter weight) : Yaitu komponen untuk mengatur tegangan belt dan untuk mencegah terjadinya selip antara belt dengan pully penggerak, karena bertambah panjangnya belt.
f. Bending the belt
Alat yang dipergunakan untuk melengkungkan belt adalah
  • - Pully terakhir atau pertengahan
  • - Susunan Roller-roller
  • - Beban dan adanya sifat kelenturan belt.
g. Pengumpan (feeder) : Adalah alat untuk pemuatan material keatas belt dengan kecepatan teratur.   
h. Trippers : Adalah alat untuk menumpahkan muatan disuatu tempat tertentu.   
i. pembersih Belt (belt-cleaner) : Yaitu alat yang dipasang di bagian ujung bawah belt agar material tidak melekat pada belt balik.
j. Skirts : Adalah semacam sekat yang dipasang dikiri kanan belt pada tempat pemuatan (loading point) yang gterbuat dari logam atau kayun dan dapat dipasang tegak atau miring yang gunanya untuk mencegah terjadinya ceceran.
k. Holdback : Adalah suatu alat untuk mencegah agar Belt conveyor yang membawa muatan keatas tidak berputar kembali kebawah jika tenaga gerak tiba-tiba rusak atau dihentikan.
l. Kerangka (frame) : Adalah konstruksi baja yang menyangga seluruh susunan belt conveyor dan harus ditempatkan sedemikian rupa sehingga jalannya belt yang berada diatasnya tidak terganggu.
m. Motor Penggerak : Biasanya dipergunakan motor listrik untuk menggerakkan drive pulley. Tenaga (HP) dari motor harus disesuaikan dengan keperluan, yaitu :
  • 1. Menggerakkan belt kosong dan mengatasi gesekan-gesekan anatara idler dengan komponen lain.
  • 2. Menggerakkan muatan secara mendatar.
  • 3. Mengankut muatan secara tegak (vertical).
  • 4. Menggerakkan tripper dan perlengkapan lain.
  • 5. Memberikan percepatan pada belt yang bermuatan bila sewaktu-waktu diperlukan.

Pengetahuan Dasar Tentang Drilling Rig

A drilling rig is a machine which creates holes in the ground. Drilling rigs can be massive structures housing equipment used to drill water wells, oil wells, or natural gas extraction wells, or they can be small enough to be moved manually by one person. They sample sub-surface mineral deposits, test rock, soil and groundwater physical properties, and also can be used to install sub-surface fabrications, such as underground utilities, instrumentation, tunnels or wells.

Drilling rigs can be mobile equipment mounted on trucks, tracks or trailers, or more permanent land or marine-based structures (such as oil platforms, commonly called 'offshore oil rigs' even if they don't contain a drilling rig). The term "rig" therefore generally refers to the complex of equipment that is used to penetrate the surface of the Earth's crust.

Drilling rigs can be:
  • Small and portable, such as those used in mineral exploration drilling, water wells and environmental investigations.
  • Huge, capable of drilling through thousands of meters of the Earth's crust. Large "mud pumps" circulate drilling mud (slurry) through the drill bit and up the casing annulus, for cooling and removing the "cuttings" while a well is drilled. Hoists in the rig can lift hundreds of tons of pipe. Other equipment can force acid or sand into reservoirs to facilitate extraction of the oil or natural gas; and in remote locations there can be permanent living accommodation and catering for crews (which may be more than a hundred). Marine rigs may operate many hundreds of miles or kilometres distant from the supply base with infrequent crew rotation or cycle
 There are many types and designs of drilling rigs, with many drilling rigs capable of switching or combining different drilling technologies as needed. Drilling rigs can be described using any of the following attributes:

By power used

  • Mechanical — the rig uses torque converters, clutches, and transmissions powered by its own engines, often diesel
  • Electric — the major items of machinery are driven by electric motors, usually with power generated on-site using internal combustion engines
  • Hydraulic — the rig primarily uses hydraulic power
  • Pneumatic — the rig is primarily powered by pressurized air
  • Steam — the rig uses steam-powered engines and pumps (obsolete after middle of 20th Century)

By pipe used

  • Cable — a cable is used to raise and drop the drill bit
  • Conventional — uses metal or plastic drill pipe of varying types
  • Coil tubing — uses a giant coil of tube and a downhole drilling motor

By height

(All rigs drill with only a single pipe. Rigs are differentiated by how many connected pipe they are able to "stand" in the derrick when needing to temporarily remove the drill pipe from the hole. Typically this is done when changing a drill bit or when "logging" the well.)
  • Single — can pull only single drill pipes. The presence or absence of vertical pipe racking "fingers" varies from rig to rig.
  • Double — can hold a stand of pipe in the derrick consisting of two connected drill pipes, called a "double stand".
  • Triple — can hold a stand of pipe in the derrick consisting of three connected drill pipes, called a "triple stand".

By method of rotation or drilling method

  • No-rotation includes direct push rigs and most service rigs
  • Rotary table — rotation is achieved by turning a square or hexagonal pipe (the "Kelly") at drill floor level.
  • Top drive — rotation and circulation is done at the top of the drill string, on a motor that moves in a track along the derrick.
  • Sonic — uses primarily vibratory energy to advance the drill string
  • Hammer — uses rotation and percussive force (see Down-the-hole drill)

By position of derrick

  • Conventional — derrick is vertical
  • Slant — derrick is slanted at a 45 degree angle to facilitate horizontal drilling

Mekanisme Steering System Pada Bulldozer

Sahabat teknisi, tipe steering system pada crawler machine sebagian besar adalah mechanical clutch, dimana dalam pengendaliannya menggunakan clutch yang terdiri dari disc dan plate yang tersusun diantara inner drum dan outer drum serta dipasang pada kedua ujung bevel gear shaft.

Fungsi komponen-komponen utama steering system tipe mechanical clutch, adalah :
• Clutch drum atau inner drum, dibaut pada bevel gear shaft hub yang terikat pada spline bevel
gear shaft, berfungsi sebagai tempat kedudukan plate juga berfungsi sebagai silinder .
• Bevel gear shaft hub, mengalirkan oli dari steering control valve ke piston.
• Brake drum atau outer drum, dibaut pada final drive flange berfungsi sebagai tempat kedudukan
disc.
• Plate, terbuat dari baja tahan karat serta tahan temperatur tinggi. Plate ini berfungsi sebagai
friction plate dan duduk pada spline outer drum.
• Disc, terbuat dari baja, bagian luar diberi lapisan bronze yang berguna untuk mengurangi
keausan. Disc berfungsi sebagai friction plate dan duduk pada spline inner drum.
• Pressure plate, terpasang tetap ke piston oleh bolt. Piston dan pressure plate bergerak secara
bersamaan berfungsi sebagai pendorong disc secara langsung.
• Spring, berfungsi sebagai sumber kekuatan untuk menekan susunan disc dan plate dengan
perantaraan pressure plate.

Proses pemindahan tenaga pada clutch sangat tergantung kepada :
• Gaya tekanan (P) yang diperoleh dari spring atau hidrolik.
• Koefisien gesek (u) tergantung dari jenis material.
• Area (A) tergantung dari luas permukaan yang bergesekan.

Prosedur Start Engine DM45


Untuk menghindari terjadinya kerusakan-kerusakan yg tidak perlu, tentunya kita harus mengetahui beberapa prosedur dalam pengoperasian unit. Berikut ini merupakan beberapa prosedur dalam men-start unit drilling machine


1.   Pastikan semua control dalam kondisi netral atau posisi OFF.
2.   Pastikan Drill/ Propel selector switch dalam posisi DRILL mode.
3.   Pastikan control lever CS dan DCS pada posisi netral.
4.  Pastikan control lever Drill Rotation dan Drill Feed pada posisi netral.
5.  Pastikan emergency stop button switch di tarik ke luar/ posisi ON.
6.   Pastikan engine throttle di setting posisi low idle 1200 rpm.
7. Pastikan tidak ada seseorang dalam kondisi bahaya atau beresiko terkena bahaya sebelum start engine.
8.   Putar kunci kontak posisi ON
9. Tekan dan tahan switch button fuel primer dan dengarkan, primer pump akan berangsur memompa dengan perlahan seiring dengan meningkatnya fuel pressure dan lepas button jika pump sudah terdengar perlahan memompanya.
10. Tarik dan Posisikan compressor on/ off control lever posisi butterfly valve menutup pada compressor.
11. Tekan dan tahan bypass button kemudian tekan switch button engine untuk start engine, lepas start button ketika engine sudah start, dan lepas bypass button ketika engne sudah running.

Definisi Dan Pengertian Final Drive (Penggerak Akhir)

Susunan roda gigi penggerak akhir adalah pegurang kecepatan yang biasanya diperlengkapi dengan satu atau dua set roda gigi lurus dan pinion boss roda gigi penggerak akhir.
Prinsip yang dipergunakanpada transmisi dimana kecepatan rotasi dikurangi dan momen puntir ( torque ) ditambah oleh sejumlah roda gigi yang dipergunakan pada penggerak akhir.


Masing-masing bak penggerak akhir ( final drive case ) dipasang melebar keluar dari bak roda gigi tirus ( bevel gear case ) pada masing-masing sisi. Dengan memilih perbandingan kecepatan yang tepat momen puntir ( Torque ) sebelum ke penggerak akhir ( final drive ) dapat diperkecil. Dengan demikian, transmisi yang sama, poros roda tirus ( bevel gear shaft ) dan lain-lain dapat dipergunakan yang sama pada berbagai jenis model mesin.

Roda gigi penggerak akhir ( final Drive gears ) dapat dihadapkan pada tekanan permukaan yang besar disebabkan oleh beban goncangandan benturan ( shock and impact loads ), yang mana memerlukan perhatian ekstra untuk seleksi oli pelumas dan mencegah masuknya benda asing ke dalam bak penggerak akhir ( final drive cases ).

Perbandingan reduksi normal berada diantara 1/9 sampai 1/12 untuk perbandingan reduksi yang lebih kecil dipergunakan sistem reduksi tunggal ( single reduction system ). Untuk perbandingan reduksi yang besar dipergunakan sistem reduksi ganda atau sistem roda gigi planet. ( Double reduction system or planetary gear system ).
