Pengenalan Cara Kerja Belt Conveyor Dan Bagian - Bagiannya

Belt conveyor dapat digunakan untuk mengengkut material baik yang berupa “unit load” atau “bulk material” secara mendatar ataupun miring.
Yang dimaksud dengan “unit load” adalah benda yang biasanya dapat dihitung jumlahnya satu per satu, misalnya kotak, kantong, balok dll. Sedangkan Bulk Material adalah material yang berupa butir-butir, bubuk atau serbuk, misalnya pasir, semen dll.


Bagian – bagian terpenting Belt conveyor adalah :

a. Belt : Fungsinya adalah untuk membawa material yang diangkut.
b. Idler : Gunanya untuk menahan atau menyangga belt.
Menurut letak dan fungsinya maka idler dibagi menjadi :
  • 1. Idler atas yang digunakan untuk menahan belt yang bermuatan.
  • 2. Idler penahan yaitu idler yang ditempatkan ditempat pemuatan.
  • 3. Idler penengah yaitu yang dipakai untuk menjajaki agar belt tidak bergeser dari jalur yang seharusnya.
  • 4. Idler bawah Idler balik yaitu yang berguna untuk menahan belt kosong.
c. Centering Device : Untuk mencegah agar belt tidak meleset dari rollernya.
d. Unit Penggerak (drive units) : Pada Belt conveyor tenaga gerak dipindahkan ke belt oleh adanya gesekan antara belt dengan “plulley” penggerak (drive pully), karena belt melekat disekeliling pully yang diputar oleh motor.
e. Pemberat (take-ups or counter weight) : Yaitu komponen untuk mengatur tegangan belt dan untuk mencegah terjadinya selip antara belt dengan pully penggerak, karena bertambah panjangnya belt.
f. Bending the belt
Alat yang dipergunakan untuk melengkungkan belt adalah
  • - Pully terakhir atau pertengahan
  • - Susunan Roller-roller
  • - Beban dan adanya sifat kelenturan belt.
g. Pengumpan (feeder) : Adalah alat untuk pemuatan material keatas belt dengan kecepatan teratur.   
h. Trippers : Adalah alat untuk menumpahkan muatan disuatu tempat tertentu.   
i. pembersih Belt (belt-cleaner) : Yaitu alat yang dipasang di bagian ujung bawah belt agar material tidak melekat pada belt balik.
j. Skirts : Adalah semacam sekat yang dipasang dikiri kanan belt pada tempat pemuatan (loading point) yang gterbuat dari logam atau kayun dan dapat dipasang tegak atau miring yang gunanya untuk mencegah terjadinya ceceran.
k. Holdback : Adalah suatu alat untuk mencegah agar Belt conveyor yang membawa muatan keatas tidak berputar kembali kebawah jika tenaga gerak tiba-tiba rusak atau dihentikan.
l. Kerangka (frame) : Adalah konstruksi baja yang menyangga seluruh susunan belt conveyor dan harus ditempatkan sedemikian rupa sehingga jalannya belt yang berada diatasnya tidak terganggu.
m. Motor Penggerak : Biasanya dipergunakan motor listrik untuk menggerakkan drive pulley. Tenaga (HP) dari motor harus disesuaikan dengan keperluan, yaitu :
  • 1. Menggerakkan belt kosong dan mengatasi gesekan-gesekan anatara idler dengan komponen lain.
  • 2. Menggerakkan muatan secara mendatar.
  • 3. Mengankut muatan secara tegak (vertical).
  • 4. Menggerakkan tripper dan perlengkapan lain.
  • 5. Memberikan percepatan pada belt yang bermuatan bila sewaktu-waktu diperlukan.

Pengetahuan Dasar Tentang Drilling Rig

A drilling rig is a machine which creates holes in the ground. Drilling rigs can be massive structures housing equipment used to drill water wells, oil wells, or natural gas extraction wells, or they can be small enough to be moved manually by one person. They sample sub-surface mineral deposits, test rock, soil and groundwater physical properties, and also can be used to install sub-surface fabrications, such as underground utilities, instrumentation, tunnels or wells.

Drilling rigs can be mobile equipment mounted on trucks, tracks or trailers, or more permanent land or marine-based structures (such as oil platforms, commonly called 'offshore oil rigs' even if they don't contain a drilling rig). The term "rig" therefore generally refers to the complex of equipment that is used to penetrate the surface of the Earth's crust.

Drilling rigs can be:
  • Small and portable, such as those used in mineral exploration drilling, water wells and environmental investigations.
  • Huge, capable of drilling through thousands of meters of the Earth's crust. Large "mud pumps" circulate drilling mud (slurry) through the drill bit and up the casing annulus, for cooling and removing the "cuttings" while a well is drilled. Hoists in the rig can lift hundreds of tons of pipe. Other equipment can force acid or sand into reservoirs to facilitate extraction of the oil or natural gas; and in remote locations there can be permanent living accommodation and catering for crews (which may be more than a hundred). Marine rigs may operate many hundreds of miles or kilometres distant from the supply base with infrequent crew rotation or cycle
 There are many types and designs of drilling rigs, with many drilling rigs capable of switching or combining different drilling technologies as needed. Drilling rigs can be described using any of the following attributes:

By power used

  • Mechanical — the rig uses torque converters, clutches, and transmissions powered by its own engines, often diesel
  • Electric — the major items of machinery are driven by electric motors, usually with power generated on-site using internal combustion engines
  • Hydraulic — the rig primarily uses hydraulic power
  • Pneumatic — the rig is primarily powered by pressurized air
  • Steam — the rig uses steam-powered engines and pumps (obsolete after middle of 20th Century)

By pipe used

  • Cable — a cable is used to raise and drop the drill bit
  • Conventional — uses metal or plastic drill pipe of varying types
  • Coil tubing — uses a giant coil of tube and a downhole drilling motor

By height

(All rigs drill with only a single pipe. Rigs are differentiated by how many connected pipe they are able to "stand" in the derrick when needing to temporarily remove the drill pipe from the hole. Typically this is done when changing a drill bit or when "logging" the well.)
  • Single — can pull only single drill pipes. The presence or absence of vertical pipe racking "fingers" varies from rig to rig.
  • Double — can hold a stand of pipe in the derrick consisting of two connected drill pipes, called a "double stand".
  • Triple — can hold a stand of pipe in the derrick consisting of three connected drill pipes, called a "triple stand".

By method of rotation or drilling method

  • No-rotation includes direct push rigs and most service rigs
  • Rotary table — rotation is achieved by turning a square or hexagonal pipe (the "Kelly") at drill floor level.
  • Top drive — rotation and circulation is done at the top of the drill string, on a motor that moves in a track along the derrick.
  • Sonic — uses primarily vibratory energy to advance the drill string
  • Hammer — uses rotation and percussive force (see Down-the-hole drill)

By position of derrick

  • Conventional — derrick is vertical
  • Slant — derrick is slanted at a 45 degree angle to facilitate horizontal drilling

Companies that provide energy without pollution, 90% owned by PT Pertamina (Persero) and 10% by PT Pertamina dimilii Venture Fund.

New era begins with the inauguration of geothermal energy Geothermal Field Kamojang on January 29, 1983 and was followed by the operation of Geothermal Power Plant (PLTP) Unit-1 (30MW) on February 7, 1983, and five years later the two units operate at their capacity each of 55 MW. On the island of Sumatra for the first time operate Monoblock 2 MW in the Sibayak-Brastagi as the first Power Plant in August 2001 and the first 20 MW geothermal power plants operating in the area Lahendong.

Over time the Government through the Presidential Decree. 76/2000 revoked the previous decree and enforce the Law. 27/2003 on geothermal, where PT Pertamina no longer have a monopoly in the exploitation of geothermal energy, but sam with other geothermal business in Indonesia.
In implementing these laws Pertamina has returned 16 Commercial Work Area (WKP) Geothermal to the Government of 31 WKP given to manage.
