Night Drilling Supervisor

As an experienced Night Drilling Supervisor, this is an opportunity to make a real contribution to Shell China.

Your job will be to support the Drilling Supervisor on every aspect of 24/7 rig operations, safeguarding assets including facilities, wells, materials and equipment. You'll provide guidance and assistance to contractor staff to overcome problems or expedite operations, and manage interfaces at wellsite such as contractor crews and specialist engineers. A key part of the role is the forecasting and scheduling of equipment, materials and services to optimise resources, along with preventing harm to the natural environment and maintaining the highest safety standards at all times.

We're looking for someone with an engineering diploma or degree and experience of well engineering and drilling activities. An individual with proven leadership and supervision skills - in particular HSE- and technical expertise including well control and emergency management. You hold SIEP Round I & II Drilling Certification and a valid well control certificate from an internationally recognised authority. The ability to stay alert and think clearly for long periods of time is essential.
